Campbell admitted the Lions had an overly conservative game plan for the Cowboys, hoping to limit sacks and turnovers. Yet, Detroit—one of the better offensive lines in the league—still gave up five sacks and five turnovers. It seems no amount of conservatism is adequate. How long before opponent offenses start using unorthodox game plans against the Cowboys?

Remember the Patriots running the ball on all but three plays against Bills in last year’s upset? Or when Jeff Fisher onsided every kick against Manning and the Colts?

Will we see something similar to contend with Micah and the Cowboys defense?

We already did with Philly

their game plan was the leave Parsons unblocked and let him do whatever he wanted to do and just read him.......

however if i was planning against Dallas i would run the ball 65 times especially to the outside because thats where they're issues are

Run, Run, Square in on Kearse. Run, Run, curl on Anthony Brown. Would be unstoppable

Their game plan was to put him in a bind in which, no matter what he chose, the choice was always wrong. That’s not unorthodox, in my opinion.

When a successful team abandons their identity to match up with another good team, they have already lost.

I think any team that can run an RPO /
complex running attack like the Eagles or 49ers is the blue print.

The lions just did that. Problem was their run game didnt have enough success.

And if our offense gets going again teams wont be able to just run the ball on us.
