This goes back to 1965 when we lost our first post season appearance in the Playoff Bowl to the Colts.

Of course 1966 was our first NFL playoff season which ended in NFL Title game against Packers at Cotton Bowl.

I attended my first playoff game in 1973 at Texas Stadium against the Rams.

Anyway, I’m curious how many other old diehards on this site have seen all .

And feel free for those who weren’t born yet to tell us how long your streak is of not missing Cowboys playoff games.

I have never missed a Cowboys playoff game since 1975. I've missed Cowboys games, but never a playoff game. Nothing got in the way. Not work, not weddings, nothing. I'll just call out if need be.

On weddings. I have no problem not going to a wedding held on Sunday during the NFL playoffs. Most wedding take place on Saturday. I think it's shortsighted or disrespectful to hold a wedding on Sunday during the NFL playoffs. Just because you don't like sports doesn't mean everyone else don't as well. If you want your wedding to be the primary focus, don't do that. Don't even get me started on Super Bowl Sunday weddings. I'm not taking part in your power play against your husband.

As far as my job goes, I don't work during the SB, nor do I work Super Bowl Monday. Those days remain the only days I've never worked my entire life.

are you saying missed as in missed watching or missed going to?

I would venture that most here havent missed watching....my only one that I ever missed in my life (41 YO), was the romo botched hold game against seattle...I even had it recorded and was ready to watch when i got home...was dating my wife at the time and went to a wedding with her, made sure to tell ALL the people not to tell me scores...at about 1 am when were drunk and eating pizza this random guy shows up and blows it for me....that was the longest 3 hour drive back home in the morning.

I've seen every one. In 1965 my dad took me over to his friends house to watch the game on his new color TV that had just come out. For those that don't know, before that you had black and white tvs and changed channels by hand.

I actually missed four years of Romo playing because I was in Music School. I caught a few snippets of a game when I could, but that's about it. Before school I've never missed a game since I don't know when .

I still have my original portable 5 inch ac/dc TV that used to take in my vehicle on the road. It’s black and white.

If I missed one I can't remember. I have worked on exactly ONE playoff game, and NEVER again.

I got to see it, but not the whole thing. I saw most of it and it wasn't fun at all. Made for a terrible shift dealing with Texan fans mouthing off.

My first cowboys game was the Famous Hail Mary playoff game against the Vikes.
I was hooked and have never missed a playoff game since.

My brother was a big Packers fan. Sat down to watch the Ice Bowl with him. I said, "Cowboys are my team because they had Bob Hayes and he was in the 'Guinness Book of World Records' as the fastest human being." I was a nerd and big into the Guinness Book at 6 years old, LOL.

Bob Hayes was my first favorite player, followed by Chuck Howley then Drew Pearson. Saw every post-season Cowboys game since the Ice Bowl.

Music school somehow blocks you from watching football games?
