Vita Vea is going to FEAST on weak Cowboys interior makeup new Oline. That doesn't include having to block Shaq Barrett, William Gholston and Akiem Hicks as well.

Why is it a make shift OL?

The question should be how many times will Brady get sacked as they are missing 3 OL.

We are missing 1 OL that many were not counting on anyway.

It's a makeshift Oline because Tyler Smith has not practiced all summer at Left Tackle. Plus, Connor McGovern has not shown to be the better Left Guard between he and Tyler.

Hopefully we can run the ball a little bit. If the Cowboys are in constant 2nd/3rd and long situations where those guys can just tee off it will be a very long day for Dak.

A fresh Zeke/Pollard combo that can add some yards on the ground will be crucial.

I'm being realistic. I'm seeing a big void starting from Center heading Left towards Tackle for various reasons. Bucs have some seasoned strong starters across their Dline. Very tough to face. If our Oline doesn't block well, our Offense is going to struggle.

You couldn't have had THAT much confidence in the offense to begin with if all it took was 1 injury to our injury prone LT to change everything.

Hello??? Tyler Smith practicing all summer long at Left Guard helped masked Tyler Biadasz's weaknesses. Just watch. With Connor McGovern now expected to start at LG next to Biadasz, Vita Vea is going to FEAST against them.

When Tyron Smith was still healthy/available, it allowed Tyler Smith to remain starting at Left Guard, thus helping to solidify the interior of the Oline much better than McGovern ever can.

i think the better question is how many times will dak be hurried to throw, he has to know the pressure is going to be there so i don't anticipate him taking a ton of sacks but he will probalby do a lot of dump offs and rush his throws

Very true.

Kellen Moore has a lot of work to do these next 2 weeks to get creative with his playback. We need a lot of quit-hitting plays, quick rubz that get receivers open early, counters, traps, options, dump offs, screens, etc. Anything to counter the constant heat the Bucs will be bringing.
