Being the vet that he is, what kind of things can Gilmore help Diggs with to elevate his game, to be that top CB in the league? It's always good to have a vet here who's done great things in this league to pass on knowledge to others.

If I'm Diggs I'm excited to learn what made Gilmore all pro, and DPOY. Diggs is coming up on a new contract, this could make it very very hard for the Jones family! I'm not saying Diggs needs 10+ interceptions again, but to fine tune some obstacles in his game. Please give your thoughts!

I think it will help Diggs with more opportunities for interceptions . . . Teams will not be able to Avoid Him with Gilmore locking down the other side

Agree, Gilmore will helps Diggs tremendously, but it will also work the other way as well.

Offenses will respect Gilmore from respect of what he has accomplished, and may throw more toward Diggs. However, Diggs has respect as well, so they may test Gilmore at his age to see if he slowed down any.

Also we have some good S's and Wilson and / or Hooker can be rolled to either side, depending their assignments in pass coverage, and needing to cover the middle of the field, if a WR or TE is running in the seam. But Kearse or a LB may have coverage on them. I am sure Quinn will find a way to cover all of that.

This helps the defense tremendously IMO.

Diggs has played 3 years and has been All Pro. That being said, he should be able to pick up and some small adjustments and tricks of the trade from Gilmore. Diggs has proved he can get the INT's and really improved in his coverage skills. He just needs to be solid in both consistently and the Cowboys will have one of the best duo CB tandems in the league.

Diggs needs to go back to middle school and learn to tackle and not be afraid of contact. Then Gilmore can teach him

Maybe Gilmore can teach Diggs how to tackle and hit. That non hit on Kittle still irks me.

I'm hoping Gilmore is an upgrade from Anthony, so I expect our Pass D to be even better. He's been playing longer than Diggs, so I'm sure he'll have a few tricks to share. Diggs is pretty good himself & probably has a few tweaks he can share. I think our DBs will be a stout group.

I'm thrilled with this Gillmore pick up. It puts some pressure on Diggs to play controlled cornerback and hopefully will lead to way less gambles. Still won't help Diggs with tackling though until he gets paid.

Gilmore will help him a lot as he will be taking his spot while Diggs sits at home holding out for mega cash.

No doubt Diggs will gamble from time to time, but he also shut down Jefferson in the Minn game and shut down Jamar Chase in Cinn.
