How much do these slow snaps throw off timing

That was something I was wondering because a couple of times I almost thought the line jumped offside only to realize the ball was taking a while to get back to the quarterback.

Doesn't seem to be adversely impacting the team. As long as it gets there and in a good location.

Is there a stat on how fast a C snaps to the ball to the QB.
Or does PFF the stat on snaps of how fast it should go, so it is still easy for the QB to get it without it being a laser and he drops it. Or how soft it should be so they can get it, and get it turned for his fingers to line up on the laces. you know,
all those things.

Like on field goals, the LS gets it to the holder with just the right spin so when he put it on the turf the K does not kick the laces.

you know, don’t snap it too hard, it breaks the QB’s thumb.

Biadiaz snaps are wobblers and way to slow getting to the QB . It really seems to mess up the timing of the plays when Cooper is reaching and waiting for the ball
I mean if that were the case wouldn't be the case against the bad teams also....

I am not understanding what you are saying here but the receiver has got at least another step than if the ball got there on time. On a quick route it could make a difference. ON a screen pass it could be the difference between it working and not.

I agree....it's the little things that messes things up. Biadasz has got to clean that up.

Well against "bad" teams it is not an issue at all but it only seems to be an issue against "good" teams. Its possible but bad teams have some good coverage guys so snap issues would be pretty apparent across the board, you can't go from 400 yards and 65% comp to struggling to get to 300 yards and 55-60% comp all because a snap takes an extra 0.01 seconds to get to the QB. Or is this one of the veiled arguments on why Dak has trouble putting the pass on a receiver consistently.

It definitely becomes a problem when the ball gets intercepted before the QB touches it.

But what really matters is who gets charged with the interception. As long as it's Biadasz, all is good.

oh no, nothing about Dak here. Just a game observation. Just seemed more pronounced this week for some reason. It was weird

Great point. I thought the same thing watching the game. It gives the pass rush a second head start before the QB gets the ball.
