Dat was a MIKE and coverage was not his forte.

Coakley was a WILL and ran like the wind and was great in coverage, like Cox.

Difference is Coakley was 5'9 while Cox is 6'3.

Jabril's specialty lies with his pass coverage expertise. It's something we could well utilize, whenever he's ready to assume an active role for us. Anytime a LB has an innate ability to cover receivers, you'll become a useful tool for any team. He's sure to make a hit with C'boys' fans. It's like having an extra CB. We should all be anxious to see him take the field. I know I am. He's still learning Quinn's system, though -- he'll gradually get more reps.

His impact might shoot up as the season progresses, but right now, he's the fourth linebacker and is likely to only get a few snaps a game like he did against New York. It's up to him to make more plays like the Daniel Jones stop in order to seize more playing time.
