I am sure due to the severity and placement of Andre Gurode's injury he will have to miss some parts of practice. I do not think that he will be allowed to wear a helmet until his wounds are healed and he will definitely miss contact type drills, in fear of rupturing the stitches. We will need a great showing from our offensive line next week against Philthy and I hope that Andre heals in time for it. I am not on the Al Johnson bandwagon yet, so I am hoping for the best.

Get Well Soon Andre

It sounds like his eye is the main concern at this point.

Currently the only issue is if they can reduce the swelling around the eye. I believe that the swelling has to go down in order for the blurred vision to go away.

They don't practice again until Wednesday when they begin installing the game plan for Philly. So the trainers have two days to get the swelling down and the reduce the blurred vision.

If he can't see, then he can't play. I think the lacerations can be properly wrapped up to prevent any issues.

Yeah, that about sums it up IMO. Only other worry would be illegal hands to the face causing the helmet to keep rubbing against the wound. Imagine it happens quite a bit at the LOS.

remember andre is a nfl lineman= tough
he should be ready vs philty...unless his vision is impaired he can take the pain.

get well andre!!
