Would you give up #26, #58, and #129 to move up to #9 # to get either Jalen Carter or Bijan Robinson?

Sure. If Chicago has an idiot for a GM, I'd do it. The 9th pick is worth 1350. Numbers 26, 58, and 129 is 1063. I'm all for it.

Truth is that the Cowboys entire draft don't add up to 1350. Dallas would have to go into next year's draft to trade up to #9.

I guess I was not looking at a good chart if those are the numbers. I’ll have to look again.

I'm not making big moves because they cost too much & we need a steady flow of young players. Lots of value to be had. If you want to trade up & down to target specific players fine but you need to net multiple players that make the team and contribute.

I'm certainly not trading that much for a guy like Carter who is doing nothing but raising questions about his maturity and attitude in this pre draft period.

no. because with 26,58 and 129 you add more to the team as opposed to just Robinson. why? because you have pollard. how many touches will Robinson get? you run probably 20-30 times per game depending. are you going to take away from pollard? or are you going to take away from Robinson? top 3 rushing teams missed the playoffs last year. the next two in philly and giants, had running QBs that got around 700 yards.
instead of Robinson, add a LG, legit center and a DT. KC didn't need a Robinson and a Pollard. Philly didn't have a franchise RB. Cinci didn't either. perhaps SF and they lost to Philly.

a LG, DT that would go much further in improving this team than another RB, who will share carries with Pollard, who by the way is franchised. in other words, how much do you want to invest in RBs....not necessary.

Yeah, it's not doable. However, if Robinson gets past 15, I would be all for trading up to get him. I know people don't like a RB in the 1st round. either do I. But you have to consider what would be best for the team right now. What our team needs to better our chances now.

Negative. Not spending any more capital on a RB. And Carter has bust written all over him. He’s Albert Haynesworth 2.0
