All-in-all an encouraging quick read.

From the middle part of the article:

Prescott has worked on his throwing mechanics this off-season by generating more torque via his lower body. The result has more zip on balls, and it's why Lamb has turned the speed up on the JUGS machine. He wants to practice with balls coming in even hotter than what Prescott delivers.

I really want Mac to be more involved in the offense.
It was/is his calling card.

MM is saying all the right things.

Again.

That's his schtick, saying stuff.

Gotta prove it Mike. Believe it or not, I'm pulling for you. All of Cowboys Nation is, so walk the talk.

The chemistry between Lamb and Prescott certainly needs to be better than it was. There were times they simply were not on the same page. There are good reasons for that, but it's nice to see they have been working on it.

I guess its supposed to make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The chemistry that is as important or more is the one with the offensive line. That will determine what this offense will accomplish. Without them doing their job, this so called chemistry which i think is ridiculous, i call it practice, practice and more practice. ... will be worthless. MM can feel the noose that Jerry is tightening around his neck. Wish we had one for Jerry and son.

No. Not one bit. Honestly, just because I've been doing this literally my whole life and I fell in love with the game a long time ago," Lamb says. "So kind of going out there, doing what I love. And yeah, that teams will be on me, but I mean, I'm going to apply some pressure myself.

B b but @CowboyRoy said teams were on you last year Ceedee  lol

  • McCarthy is a legit NFL Head Coach. He might be middle of the pack, but he is legit.
    • Garrett was not a legit NFL Head Coach.
      • Garrett never really worked his way up the coaching ranks.
      • Jerry made him an OC before he was qualified for it.
      • Then he was the defacto option at HC once Wade was fired.
  • Wade was also not a legit NFL Head Coach.
    • He just didn't have the personality for it.
    • Some D-Coordinators turned down HC jobs (The late Jim Johnson, etc.)
    • Wade would have a better legacy as a great D-Coordinator if not for his failed stints as a Head Coach.
  • Campo also wasn't a legit NFL Head Coach.
    • It's debatable if he was even qualified as a D-Coordinator.

Strangely, chemistry is amazing on winning teams. If the Cowboys are 4 and 8 after 12 games....listen to what their chemistry is like........it won't be good.

So driving someone home and having a glass of ice tea now qualifies as team building chemistry. Really scrapping the bottom for something to write about.

Show me in January.
That’s where I’m at too. This organization’s best skill is selling hype in large quantities. After nearly 3 decades of empty sales pitches, I don’t get too high or too low based hope or hype.

This team needs a simple mantra then go live it. “Prove it.” “Shut up and win”. “Show me the money”. Etc.
