How to remove songs from your IPOD

I have an apple IPOD, 8 GB and i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove songs from it?

Use iTunes to delete them. I think thats how my wife does it on her iTouch.

Open iTunes and select the song and hit Delete.

open itunes, connect your ipod to your computer.
look at the list of songs in itunes.
uncheck any songs on the list that you dont want on your ipod.
click sync, only the songs that are checked in itunes will be on your ipod.

While we are on the subject...I download songs for my Ipod from I tunes but also for my daughters MP3 player (Not an Ipod).

I now have her songs on my Ipod. How do I get them off of my Ipod but not out of Itunes library?

I could do that, but it would be counter productive to my financial bottom line.

No. Just make sure you have the iPod selected.

If you have 8GB, you probably won't have to worry about deleting songs from it for a very long time.

I have about 600 songs on my Samsung MP3 player and I still have oh 5GB left
