How to save iPhone battery?

I'm definitely the type of person that texts all the time. And I have online radio on my phone called Pandora. So I'm pretty much using my phone all the time. I turned my brightness down. But I want to know If there are anymore ways to save your battery from dying. And I travel with my charger everywhere I go. But I still just want to know

Turn off bluetooth if you don't use it. that sucks juice whether or not you are connected

Turn off notifications.

Have email on every 15 minutes or every hour.....or only when you open the app.

Double-click the home button and you get a list of everything running on the phone in the background. Click and hold any icon in this mutitasking bar until the icons dance and display a minus sign in the upper left corner. Close anything running in the background that you don't need and that will save your battery some grief.

You can also just buy an extended battery to use in a pinch. But the batterly life on the 4 is long enough that you should be able to make it through a day fine with normal use.
