How would the Dallas Cowboys look if there was no salary cap?

I think most everyone can agree that the salary cap has watered down the league as a whole and as a result we are left with a pretty subpar product. And the revenue sharing has given a huge advantage to teams like New Orleans, Cincinnati, New England etc who could not or would not build the revenue for their teams for whatever reason. No longer can a franchise build a team not only by roster but by team brand by the revenue a franchise creates on their own. Now with a salary cap the best a franchise can hope for is a good 3-5 year run with a decent core of players and that may even be a stretch. New England excluded because belichick may be the GOAT.

Anyway I wonder how the Cowboys would look if there wasn't a salary cap. Not including players that love the Cowboys and would definitely be on the team like Adrian Peterson. I'm thinking more about which players we could've held on to and could currently be on the roster and how much better of a team we could be if we could afford that depth we lack so poorly

it would look exactly like it does now. Jerry is making money hand over fist, and that is all that matters to him at this time. He said so this week.

Unfortunately.. living around saints fans ain't easy these days.

On the plus side I have a team to pull for in the playoffs.

Lol. Well, hard to tell around here anymore. We have fans volunteering to change their stripes. Good for you for honoring the bet. :)

I can't lie and say I haven't thought about changing teams. Heck I've even tried to pull for other teams. I just can't do it. It's just not the same. No passion there for other teams. Used to feel the same way about watching Cowboy games. I went 20 yrs without missing a snap. But now a days if I'm off work and home on Sunday I will watch the game. If I have to work then oh well I just won't get to see it and it really doesn't bother me
