How would you feel about Trenton Simpson at 26?

I don't know anything about him, but he's a mid 2nd rounder according to the big board I'm looking at.

Would consider with the 2nd pick but not in round one. He does have speed as you mentioned but I watched full game tapes on him and saw him get washed in traffic, not be too effective in pash rush, and he just didn’t appear as physical as I’d hoped. Think I set the bar too high on him though.

Watched him against FSU, followed by Campbell vs. Michigan, and then Sanders vs, Bama. Talk about about three completely different dudes.

We've seen zillions of LBs with questionable instincts and a fast 40 bust recently.

Offenses target LBs hard, so they have to be very smart about reading plays.
This…

He’s a good option at 58, not 26.

Definitely has him as a two, but to be realistic the Cowboys are almost assuredly going to draft a second round value anyways.

I suppose I've learned to be content with drafting second round valued players because it means they didn't hurt me worse by drafting a third or fourth round player in the first.

Sanders you can justify taking in round 1, because he seems to really have some pass rushing ability as well.
Sanders could be the Tyler pick for the Cowboys this draft. At his best he could be another Parsons hybrid pass rusher/linebacker. Imagine the games Quinn can play with these two. Seemed to play well in big games as well.
