I don't expect us to take a 3-tech early because of the Odighizuwa signing. In fact, I don't expect us to take one in any of the first three rounds despite how deep this class is at DT. So I'm looking for opinions on Howard Cross III.
I know he's small at 6-1, 288 pounds, which is why he could be available in the fifth-seventh, but he seems to be a disruptive player as a pass rusher. Is he like a Grady Jarrett, who will get overlooked because of his size (although Jarrett was over 300 at 6-1)? He uses his hands well and keeps his feet well to keep moving and fighting.
Again, there are DTs I'd much rather have earlier in the draft, so I'm just looking for opinions of what fans think of him as a late-round pick after we let all the players built like NFL DTs go by early.
