WebOS has the best feel of any of the major mobile OSes, but it doesn't have nearly the developer support. It's too bad that it was mishandled so badly.

I'm really hoping it comes through, just for the viewing of PDFs and surfing capabilities.

JustDezIt;4060330 said:yup, from what i have heard.
JustDezIt;4060303 said:yeah same here. have been wondering if it will come thru ever since, so the B&N is kind of tempting.
nyc;4060736 said:At $99 it's a steal. The biggest problem is it sounds like it's going to die. You buy something that is going to fall behind and developers aren't going to write apps for a product that is dead in the water.
It's a shame and I heard great things about WebOS.
TheCount;4060741 said:You can install Android on it, and they aren't dumping WebOS, just their tablet and PC hardware. They say they plan to continue developing WebOS and licensing it out, so updates should still be available.
