Usually around this time of the year I start a post with the major links to all of the pertninent hurricane tracking sites worth looking at.

The best forum in my mind for tropical weather is HardCoreWeather.com. They'll have information on Hurricanes before the Weather Channel can broadcast it. Folks there on HCW have saved lives.

This is one link to watch for the entire GOM and western Atlantic. Alex right now is sitting and spinning over the Yucatan. That one system sitting out over the Bahamas is walking it's way right into a very similar climatic condition scenario that a little rain and wind storm built up and created quite a reputation for herself. You might have heard of it, folks called her Katrina.

With Alex in the GOM and his final resting place to be determined, here's the links...

Nice One! Will be bookmarking from here once I get back home. With family in Florida, it's something I keep an eye on.

Rather than repost all of the links in a new thread, I figured it easier to bump this thread since it's hurricane season again.

Of course the best site to get the most current updates is Hardcoreweather.com.

We don't need any hurricanes but a nice slow moving tropical depression would be nice to help the drought in Texas.
