About a week ago, didnt really catch it, but my norton password sign in stopped working. Now my start up is mising a file start up. I get high CPU notifications that says like adobe is using my computer, and a few other programs.

I tried using internet lock,, but that doesnt seem to be working.

any suggestions, going to check out best buy or maybe contact norton, see what they say

thanks if anyone has advice

Love you CJ, but your English is sometimes hard to read.

Hit up Malwarebytes.com and get the free version and run it.

I think you have a virus though. Be very careful about any accounts you login too.

As for MyBad's suggestion, try that too.

Although, MyBad is way to freaking old be be saying "my bad", so. Well. rofl. take caution! :laugh2:

Okay, I'm curious now to what those in the know use as protection for your computers.
Avast! is pretty good
AVG isn't bad
ESET NOD32 is one of the best according to a lot of people (I don't have much experience with it)

As for Malware/Spyware removal:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
Spybot S&D
SuperAntiSpyware

I use Malwarebytes and Symantec Corporate. Symantec Corporate is what Norton should be.

That said, Symantec Corporate isn't the best on the market, but it's not bloated as simple to manage. (especially managing site-wide) That is why I use it.

On Win7, I have MS Security Essentials, but I'm not convinced it's a good produce. Like Symantec Corporate Edition, it isn't bloated. (amazing for a MS product!) :laugh2:

I agree about Norton being a CPU hog. I use AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 2012. Offers the same real-time protection as Norton w/ automatic virus definition updates, and uses much less CPU. Did I mention that it is free?

I want to thank everyone for your help. My computer is doing fine now. Got rid of all Norton stuff. Using Avast now and ran Malwarebytes. Its working great now. I used to use spybot along time ago, but forgot their name till somone mentioned it here.

Mostly been using Norton and norton essentials, and CC Cleaner from file hippo. But my computer is working great now, thanks everyone. Had about 32 infections, with 3 critical. Computer is fine now and can post again without problems. By the way I got avast and got the full Pro7 with the firewall and all, avast free pass. Anything else you would suggest I use,
