The issue of our DC is a legitimate question.

We are kidding ourselves if we don't think Stewart is under the microscope and Phillips will be examining everything about our defensive preparation from here on out. Phillips may very well have to take over the reigns if we see any more confusion and mental lapses as we saw last night. The confusion was obvious even to the fans in the seats. It had to be an embarrassment to Wade who prides himself on his defenses.

Yes.... and that would not be a bad thing. It would be akin to Billick taking over the playcalling a few years back... with great results I might add.

Bottom line: I dont care who fixes it and I dont care who gets credit for it... just get it fixed.... git 'r done

Tom Landry did the same thing............would "take over" a unit that was struggling................

The way i look at it is, this IS Wade's D and everyone knows that. IMHO Stewart is DC in name only and Wade is the man running things. They have headsets and they communicate during the game. If this D fails, it's on Wade and the players, not some young coach who just became the DC. I seriously doubt a man who's been coaching this D 30 years, and calls himself "Mr.Fix It" is gonna pass the buck to this young coach and if he did noone will buy it anyway.

That was so classless. The presumtuousness of some. It's OK
You must be where it just comes -- to use the vernacular --
natural-like. And if it is tolerated here, heyyyy, what the hey?
:)

all i say out of Wade was he looked like he just finished a Twinkey. Not much interaction
