I don't believe for one second that Rush is as bad as he played yesterday.
I do believe someone wanted us to think that.
But we've all seen Rush play better and the Cowboys win when they felt there was still hope for the season.
The playcalling was terrible.
But just like when Dak was injured before his first extension, it's as if someone wants fans to believe that the sky is falling without Dak.
Which would make sense now that Jerry mortgaged the team's future with that ridiculous contract he gave him.
I think someone put on a show for the fans to see yesterday.

Eagles have his number

When Rush had 5 wins....6th game vrs Eagles looked very similar.

They just didnt respect his arm or the receivers
His legs are no threat..

You need to head to the store, you might be low in tin foil.

Maybe, but even you should admit that something is off with what we saw yesterday
Nothing was off. Before Dak got hurt, we saw a bad team take the field and get manhandled in some games. They were also winless at home.

Dak got hurt and was replaced by a worse QB and the team looked bad again.

This isn't rocket science. Nor is it an endorsement of Dak, who is an average QB. But Rush stinks. There's a reason he's a backup. Thinking that his play was stunted on purpose in order to make him look bad and prop up Dak is something I'd expect from my uncle after he consumed 17 bud lights at Thanksgiving dinner.

Rush may not be great but he isn't as bad as they made him look yesterday.

He looked bad all on his own.

Blaming others for his play is laughable. I mean he was missing open WRs. Did the coaches force him to just not make smart throws?

There were at least a few passes where his receiverss didn't even know who was the intended target.

Its an incredible feat that he managed to not throw an INT. Although probably 80% of your pass being thrown 1 yard or less from the LOS probably helped there

Yes, he is.

Rush has no arm. If you want to even pretend that you can converse about NFL football, you have to first understand that. Rush is extremely one dimensional, he can make anticipatory throws, and that is it. It is incredibly easy to shut him down. Simply take away the short/intermediate stuff and get in his face.

I agree that Rush has a weak arm.
Where we disagree is that you apparently believe that a strong arm makes a great quarterback.
Just like Dak; Dak has a strong arm but no quarterback sense.
Rush doesn't need a strong arm to succeed. He's more accurate than most and knows how to play the position.
Too many on here think a quarterback has to be able to throw the ball seventy yards to succeed. That has very little to do with success.
Drew Brees never had a strong arm, but was one of the best.
It's sickening to read all of the posts calling him "noodle arm".
That tells me right away that the poster knows nothing about the position.

Dude, stop making crapp up. You are now claiming crapp that I neither said nor believe. Are you really that bad at discussion? You may try again if you so desire, but that ramshackle crapp you threw out there is ridiculously inane.

Exactly, he didn't need any help to look bad.
