Why are all the sports shows jumping on the Panthers bandwagon???And why do they have Carolina above the Cowboys in power rankings.

From What Ive seen, the Panthers have struggled when I've watched them ,

Ugh,

Excuse me, Didn't we beat the Panthers at their home????

It's because in the NFC aside from the Bears, any team that actually wins 2 in a row at any given time is suddenly the "real deal" regardless of what happened before that.

Then when they drop one or 2 they're "sunk".

Rinse and repeat.

IMO, it has more to do with they ( panthers ) were just about everyone's pick to go to the SB this year,, so to make themselves look good, they have to talk them up. But I for one, could care less how much or how little people talk about the boys', that don't win games on Sunday.. or Thursday in this case. The only praise I need for my team, is #6..

You have to take into consideration that when we played them... the balance of the game hung on a few plays that could have led to a Panthers win....

We have been less consistant than the Panthers. I don't understand it either, but that would be my guess.
And I don't really care about these power polls or rankings. Rankings are for College. That is just for water cooler / coffee pot work place talk, and Message Board bragging rights and in some cases, trolling.. We just need to get to the playoffs.

I'm not sure I would place us above the Broncos but I'll take it. Like others have said, these rankings mean nothing. The W-L ranking is the only one that matters.

However, the Cowboys with Romo have been every bit as consistent as Carolina with Smith. If we win the next two games, "cheese" production will go through the roof.

The Panthers haven't played a road game in a month, just finished a three game homestand which included a bye. Yet their record is the same as our's and we hammered them big time.

They don't scare me in the least.

Wins and losses are all that matter to me.

Yea, and if they come out of these games 4-2 that should be enough to probably win the division or get the wild card. I dont care how inconsistent they have been. I do not want to face them in the playoffs, especially if they can get hot. Unless we maybe win out or have only 1 loss the rest of the way i do not think we will beat carolina twice.
