My stinking golf partner bailed. No fun if he's not buying lunch when he loses.

That is fine that he plays....I just hope he doesn't aggravate the injury worse.

I would have held him out a couple of more weeks....

Me, too. If he's really able to play all-out, fine. But I find that hard to believe. I just don't want him out there if he's only 75% or so.

I agree with you guys. If there is any week we can afford to be without him it should be this week.

This is actually going to be interesting to watch. Glenn came back too early but you have to wonder if that cartilage damage was inevitable. Supposedly, Wade doesnt like to rush back players nor force them to practice if they cannot. i have heard that hell rest players during the week and only play them on sunday too.

I think one problem weve been having is the way that Parcells dealt with injuries. Take Henry last year who was obviously hobbled and was still being run out there. I just hope that Phillips is true to his word when it comes to player injuries.

Well, at least with that one I have Butch Cassidy riding a bicycle as the scene.

didn't Coach Phillips say Newman would not play until he was 100%? or something like that? I believe he said this in the PC before week one.

I seriously doubt they would send Newman out there risking further injury, especially since the 'Boys are 2-0 right now.

I'd be interested to know what bootlegs you have and if they are good ones.

Feel for ya on the Dallas date. I'll be at the Clev, Det, and Pittsburgh shows right now...if not more.

I'd look for more dates added in the states for after their return from Europe.

I am hoping he adds Dallas in there somewhere, I wouldnt be suprised if he didnt though. This really is not a city where he gets much support. Its mostly just the carpetbaggers like myself.

The rising tour I saw him in Cleveland, albany, buffalo and connecticut....The albany show was fantastic, the last show before christmas!

I wish I was home especially since he is in albany on my birthday.

I have a whole bunch of bootlegs. Let me know if you want anything I can upload them and email them to you, My favorites are summertime bruce (the agora in cleveland summer of 78) and nassau night new years eve 81....

Best news I've heard. Welcome back TNew!

As to the music, I thought you were going to gush about Kenny G. or Air Supply.
:laugh2:

You're a golf degenerate??

I knew there was some reason I liked you...

Lemme finally break down and go see a doctor about this rotator cuff, and we'll talk about gettin' together so I can see how deep in your wallet I can get, ol' buddy... right now, I'd be pretty easy...

Y'know, I love Springsteen, but I don't wanna listen to his music ALL THE TIME... there are other musicians out there...

That's why I like Radio Margaritaville online, you get a HEAVY helping of Jimmy Buffett, but you also get a lot of stuff by artists he likes too...

I hear Springsteen's most recent release is pretty good, does anybody have a review for me before I spend my hard-earned money on it?? I'm trying to hoard my nickels and dimes for when the Eagles' newest ("Road To Eden", I believe it's called) is released in late October...

At least, that's when my local Wal-Mart has it scheduled to hit their shelves... it will be their first album of all-new music since "The Long Run", way back in 1979... I saw a video clip of one of the new songs online, filmed in what looked like an airport hangar... it had a bit of a "Peaceful Easy Feeling" feel to it... but like an idiot, I didn't bookmark it, now I can't find it again...

Anyway, back to Springsteen-- I found his "Rising" album to be brilliant, the next one was gawdawful, so bad I've blocked the name of it out of my memory... a waste of 15 bucks, is all it was... that's why I'd like to hear some fan reviews before investing in his newest...

My second favorite movie of all time, it was numba one on my list until Mel Gibson put out "Braveheart"...

But when I think about Butch and the Kid, that bicycle scene is not the first one that comes to mind:

"Rules?? No rules in a knife fight"...

"Think you used enough dynamite there, Butch??"

"Who ARE those guys??"...

"I can't swim...

Why, you crazy; the FALL will probably kill you"...

And of course, the immortal "Awwwwwwww (censored)"...

Give yourself a triple uppercut for that... just hearing the name Kenny G makes me feel like I need to go get in a bar brawl, to negate all the estrogen... LOL...

I'll bet you love Zamfir, master of the pan flute, too, don't ya?? And John Tesh...

Aw well, I guess even the tone deaf need music too...
