Why prolong the inevitable? Jerry wants him, and we true Cowboys fans know better.

This franchise will be a joke for many years to come as long as Jerry is around.

By having Witten as coach, we can all say goodbye to this team forever.
Nope, not with any college or pro coaching experience, just dumb.

Witten knows better. This is not the time.

We have the hardest schedule we have had in a long time next season. Jerry wants to keep pretending like we have no money. No one wants this job without a 5 year deal.

I think many are missing the OP’s point, might as well hit rock bottom sooner than later by installing Witten now :muttley:
What it means is Jerry will hire someone like NE did as a temp and then hire someone that he really wanted to hire.

You don’t believe this. If you do, the universe should align and find a way to silence you.

It might be worth it for this franchise. This franchise needs to slap themselves in the face. We aren't going no where for several years anyways.
“Several years”? It’s been 3 decades. And as long as Jones & family own this franchise there will be no success forthcoming in years or decades. The franchise peaked a long time ago & there is no reason to believe a turnaround is in sight within the next few decades.

Since we've been declaring him as comparable to Dan Campbell's coaching, did that change after last night's Wash vs Detroit game?

It's a great example of how 31 OTHER teams can turn things around......the 31 other teams are open to change.
