Who the best team is will be decided in Jan/Feb. The 49's game will be a benchmark game for sure but even then both teams will likely not be then what they will be in the end.

The Cowboys are doing what good teams are supposed to do. Crushing the pretenders while waiting on their shot at the contenders.

The Jets D is pretty good. Our O still looks a bit rusty/not running in full sync due to the offensive style switch and MM is playing into our D's hands. Our offense just needs to limit mistakes.

So 49ers are the best team because they've played the lowly Rams and the lowly Steelers.......but Cowboys haven't played anyone despite these same people picking the Giants to beat us last week and telling us the Jets have the best defense in the league this week and Jets have a chance.
