PFN:

24 - Linderbaum, OC, Iowa
56 - Johnson, OG, BC
88 - Smith, LB, PSU
126 - Hinton, DT, UM
142 - Austin III, WR, Memphis
166 - Harvell-Peel, S, Okie State
203 - Brooks, RB, OU

PFN's mock simulator kinda stinks. Way too many good players available at each of our picks that have no chance of actually being there.

Is there any chance Linderbaum falls to us though?

I'm thinking Johnson could be in play at #24 come draft day. I like the little WR from Memphis. Also, the RB Brooks looks decent, but I don't know he's warts i.e. fumblitis or something.

Aging and injuries maybe?
Contract?

He’s started like 140 something games in a row. In fact they let him start against us in that last game just to keep the streak alive. He isn’t going anywhere

Yeah I was just thinking about that.

But as usual many of these mock drafts do not have a lot of reasoning behind them. Especially the early ones.
I love looking at them though. It opens up insights to players I do not know about or know little about.

Why would they do that when they have Kelce?

Because Kelce is basically on one year deals and could retire at any moment. He almost retired a year or so ago.

They took Dickerson from Alabama last year but he's settled in at one OG spot. They likely are going to cut Brandon Brooks for cap savings so they can take Linderbaum, play him at OG for a year and then he can take over for Kelce.

Eagles understand the value of the OL. I am hoping we take the same approach this draft/offseason.

Johnson will not be available that late i round 2.
