Hamlin is usually a non-factor in the games, but Ball looks a bit smaller but he can play. I think we might have a found a new starter and get rid of Hamlin.

I thought he did alright. He did have a missed tackle on Cartwright that accounted for a 35 yard run.

Ill be interested to see him play the next few weeks. He looks like he could develop into a solid player with more experience.

I just hope he never has to meet Brandon Jacobs in the open field.

LOL. I like him at corner more than safety. So far so good but I think he's a corner in this league. I can't imagine him going head up with a Michael Turner or a Brandon Jacobs.

I like Ball but when the camera panned to him and I saw his skinny arms and small frame, I just shook my head.

Jacobs would run over him like a mack truck.

Hamlin at least gets in his way. :p:

Ball played real well yesterday. I didn't see him out of position at all.

Im opposite.

I think he does a better job when he has things in front of him.

That said he is a solid 4th corner.

Ball needs a few more rocks in his pockets.

:laugh2:

TRUUF

He's like 6'1 or so. I just wish Davis and Columbo would make him eat at Smashburger morning, noon and night.

He needs like 20 more lbs.

He's what, 188lbs?

Sorry he came up way short yesterday missed tackel and dropped an easy interception, guy like that needs to make those plays to get a starting job..hit the bench Ball.

That's what she said.

Like when he completely ignored the fact that Campbell threw the ball RIGHT to him?

I kid, I kid.

No problem with how Ball played yesterday. But the Commanders aren't exactly a team that is going to challenge your safeties, ya know?

So maybe we hold off a bit on the anointing oil.

I have always liked what I've seen of Ball at CB. He gives us great depth there. We are definitely 4 deep...wasn't long ago we couldn't find 2.

I didnt see alot of difference between Ball and Hamlin, other than Ball actually did get into position to have a chance at a pick, wheras Hamlin almost never does.

And Ball doesnt cost 40 million.

Yeah wasn't too much difference between the too. Hamlin sucks.

Though I like him, I have a strong feeling that Hamlin will be gone after this season or next.

Those of us who are New Yorkers who post on the board must disagree with you about Jacobs. We see all the Jints games. Lately it's easy to tackle him. He doesnt like to get hit. He goes down with ankle tackles. IMO, Barber is a more punishing runner than Jacobs. He runs out of bounds a lot more than the Barbarian to avoid contact.

When you keep Jacobs going east and west he is fairly easy to bring down. Jacobs like most big backs present trouble when they get openings going north and south.
