It was GREAT to see him used yesterday the way he was, he's basically another RB at times, that's good to me! Feels better to see him doing more than just jet sweeps, or reverses in the red zone, please give your thoughts!
The one play I didn't like was trying to send him up the middle. He's way too small for that. If he had the power of someone like Deuce, maybe, but I don't think he does. Other than that, it was nice to see him involved. I think that may be one thing we can attribute to Moore being gone.

Because if Turpin entered the game in Moore’s offense, it’s either a jet sweep, WR screen or a ridiculous trick play.

What I took away from the offensive performance last night is that Mike will deploy his players in order to maximize their strengths, similarly to how DQ deploys his defense. I also thought the situational play calling was much improved from Kellen.

I'm excited to see what it looks like under reasonable weather conditions.

That's a good point. You can't just run every play with interchangeable players at the skill positions.

McCarthy n Schotty used Turp like he was used at TCU. I don't think Kellen ever looked at Turp's tape to even know his skill set.

Pollard should be used in those situations. He’s way more explosive and has far better vision than Turpin. I understand he scored, but Turpin is a jag

You guys wanting Deuce over Turpin may get your wish. LOL

Both of them separated by about one piece of lettuce in weight and if Turpin keeps running that much, would not be surprised to see him get hurt and here comes Deuce as the return man and speed specialist.

I'm just glad it's not CeeDee running end-arounds 2-3x a week.
