Not just baseball but all of sports is out of hand on players salaries. The bubble will burst some day, maybe sooner than later, just like the housing market and banking. I never thought we would reach the point where contraction in sports is a viable option. It seems we're getting closer to that. This economy is a major factor in pushing leagues toward this thinking also.
