Teams need guys like Peters, Hilton and Barr (in a much lesser role) to get to that next level IMO.

I like it too. Especially coming from a vet like him. Shows that he still has a passion for the game. And he obviously still has skills too. I'd absolutely bring him back next year.

Big plays energize the home crowd. Amazing plays energize the home crowd. A player showing over the top emotions after a big play or an amazing play energizes the crowd even more.
The home team feeds off the crowds energy. That's where guys like Dez are needed. A Dez TD would pump up the crowd and the crowd would pump up the defense afterwards. Now the defense is playing with a little more juice just because of Dez.

If this team wins the SB, there's no question who gets the MVP award, whether he deserves it or not. (He might, but it seems more likely that Parsons would be the catalyst this team needs.)

I was in high-school and it was a lot of fun, however I would be so much more appreciative today. I'm fairly positive I'd man cry.
