Sean led them to a Super Bowl victory and then left, but the management still understands their weaknesses and has addressed them quickly. Now, they're poised for another playoff run. They came into this game prepared, recognized Dallas' flaws, and exploited them. That's what good management does.

Dallas, however, has management issues. When you overpay two or three players, it limits your ability to bring in other talent. The Texans and Saints have proven this.

That's the definition of insanity!

Everyone is going to exploit Dallas's issues on defense going forward. They will run the football off the tackles and throw at the rookie Carson until Bland comes back.

I said before the season this team will get blown out more times than it wins football games and this is based solely on my opinion of the defense.

We went into the offseason with two specific weaknesses, glaring weaknesses. Dallas cannot run the football or stop the run. What did we do to fix those weaknesses? We had Mazi gain back 40 lbs. And we got a new DC. That is not going to fix the problem. We let 2 pass rushers leave in free agency and what did we do to replace them. Kneeland is not a pass rusher yet. I have no idea what Lawson has left in the tank. Apparently he wasn;t active today. I suspect he will be next week though.

Running the football is going to be an issue too. Zack Martin is not the same player. Terence Steel has not been the same since 2022. We have a rookie LT who is nowhere near ready yet. and a rookie C who is probably playing as well as any rookie on the team so far, but he is still a rookie. And then we hired Zeke, who was washed up before he left Dallas the last time, Rico Dowdle who I think is a practice squad player on any other team, Deuce Vaugn who is not an NFL RB, and Dalvin Cook, who is old and probably just mildly better than Zeke.

High hopes do not win football games.
