First of all Quinn needs to be nailed to the football cross alive if he gives up another 100+ yard in run defense.

The Solution:
This team needs to utilize a true 4-3 alignment with real DEs on the both ends, a true NT in Big Bo, and a true 3-tech DT in Gallimore.

First string
LE: D-Law
DT: Gallimore
NT: Big Bo
RE: Flower

SLB: LVE
MLB: Micah
WLB: Wilson/ Cox

SS: Wilson
FS: Hooker

CB1: Diggs
CB2: TBD

Second string
LE: Williams
DT: Osa
NT: Rush
RE: Armstrong

SLB: Barr
MLB: Clark
WLB: Ciox

SS: Israel
FS: Joseph

CB1: Nashon
CB2: TBD

I thought they were gonna use Micah like how LTaylor was used....all over the line and he can still pressure the passer often from there. The opponent would not know where he's coming from. Now they know where he is usually coming from and they can game plan their line help and neutralize him. Micah is spent after the first half alone. He is too small as a DE.

Parsons is clearly hurt. He is just gutting it out but he can barely tackle. He won't lead with his shoulders at all.

Quinn has really disappointed me with his willingness to wear down possibly the best player on the team. If he wants to play Parsons at the LOS, he should deploy a 3-4 front. Otherwise, put him at Mike and blitz him from the LB position where at the very least he will not have to deal with an OL and a TE or RB chipping him every play.

Good point! So do I. If people think back to the first few games of the year when the defense was dominant, it's shocking how far they have fallen since then. And it all starts with #11.

This was suggested last season and nothing was done. I complete rethink is needed in off season.

Micah as a 4-3 inside LB was a failed experiment earlier this year. He's below average.

His position is fine, people expect 3 sacks a week. Jac has two really good tackles

I would disagree that he was a failed experiment at LB this year, but do agree with people needing to realign expectations here. The guy had a sack, another TFL, and hit lawrence twice. Problem is that Parsons was the only defender to show up on the stat sheet Sunday.

That’s when this team had a strong DT rotation in front of him. Need to add more depth so OL can’t pull & reach second level of the defense.
