The Giants will line up Shockey and Boss in the two tightend set. The Cowboys responsible for covering the tightends are Roy and Ellis. We know Roy has had trouble and coverage is not Ellis's best attribute. I am not trying to bash Roy or Ellis. I just believe this will be a formation that will give the defense trouble.

I think if your keeping a team shorter then I think your still likely to come out ahead of the game in the long run.

The Cowboys have been working Anthony Henry in nickel packages to cover the TE, if they have any coverage problems with a TE they would likely go to that matchup. Boss is getting way too much credit, he had his moments last year but overall he isn't the type that will scare anyone.

Thomas, Henry and Hamlin is who you will see in that situation. OH! BTW, Shockey sucks and gets hurt to much, no worry!

2007 - Played in 14 out of 16 games
2006 - Played in 15 out of 16 games
2005 - Played in 15 out of 16 games
2004 - played in 15 out of 16 games
2003 - played in 9 out of 16 games
2002 - played in 15 out of 16 games

Yeah, clearly, he misses TONS of games because he's always hurt. Seeing that he's missed significant time exactly one time in his career prior to missing the final two games of last year and the playoffs.

wade philips isn't that special of a defensive mind if he keeps it that way.

I would love to see Shockey traded. Boss will never be an elite receiver as a TE, and as much as he whines about it, Shockey is a very good blocker as well. There's a reason the Giants want a lot for him; he's a very talented player.

I Disagree. He's a very good TE, but the Giants played better without him. Eli's performance was night and day.

He would be better off as a player on another team, and that team would be getting a very good player looking for a fresh start. The Giants would be better off without him from a chemistry standpoint.

Trading Shockey would help two teams, neither of which would be the Cowboys.

Keep him right where he is. :D

Shockey is overrated! :suxjints: :suxjints: :suxjints: :suxjints:

I wouldn't anticipate or expect the Cowboys to continuously let defenders get burned no matter what their name or status is. If someone struggles, they'll sit and someone else will come in.

With Roy hopefully getting less snaps this year, Shockey won't be a problem anymore =]

We are in a division which is TE strong. I Dunno if Boss=Shockey, but atleast we are trying to improve our TE matchups.

:fact:Dallas will have one of the best secondarys in the NFL - regardless.

In the 2 tightend set, with our outside backers (Ware/Ellis), somebody is attacking. So that vacated spot is covered by our inside backers or Roy. I expect Zach and(improved Brady due to Zach presents) to be an important part in the passing game or at least one can only hope. :D
