Please allow me to introduce myself.
I'm a Detroit Lions fan. I'll admit it. Heck, I even wear my Boss Bailey jersey around town now and then. I live in the Knoxville, Tennessee area, but I am a Michigan native.
hh8604, your roommate is a moron for talking smack to you. Our defense has been decimated by injuries, and as I stated on the Lions forum that I'm a member of, if you took the best attributes of Joey Harrington and Jeff Garcia and put them together, you'd still have a piss-poor quarterback. I respect the Cowbosy and what they have been able to do, winning all the Super Bowls. I loved how you all fleeced the Vikings in the Hershel Walker deal. I feel about the Vikings about the same way that ya'll feel about the Commanders. I'm really not much of a smack talker, anyways. That's not what I came here to do. I mainly came here to check out your forum. A few of your guys have come over to ours, and we've enjoyed having some fresh blood and other team's perspective.
That being said, the only way I see the Lions winning this game is if the Cowboys look past us toward their Thanksgiving day game and have a letdown from the big win on Monday Night Football. The letdown is more likely to happen, but I think this will just make the game closer than it looks on paper.
I really see no reason why your defense won't dominate our offensive line, hell, the Sisters of Mary Grace dominated them in a bye week scrimmage. We're a poorly coached, poorly disciplined, poorly prepared team. When you're this sad, you don't talk smack.
Enjoy your season, and I hope your run in the playoffs is a prosperous one. As for me, I'm already getting jacked up for the Lions version of the Super Bowl...
