Our offensive line is pretty damn good if we just commit to our teams strengths
our strength is the defense and running game. defense is committed and they are doing a good job. Moore has to committ to the run game and not abandon it at the first sign of struggle, instead figure out how to change it mid flight and find the rythm again. Zeke is a rythm RB. he needs reps, even it doesn't look like its succeeding, keep feeding him. and than bam hit them with pollard

Way better than expected......Tyler gets a chunk of that credit. He's going to be a good one, just needs experience ( reps)

The differences. Last week the left tackle went down and smith wasn’t ready to play left tackle. They knew their assignments this week

Playing better than expected. And improved from last week at that.
Will be interested, especially the difference in the run game against the NYG if Peters gets to play in that game.

Farniok is the weak link by far. Do they put Peters at LT and slide Tyler Smith to LG?

TS is our future at LT so why mess with it, leave the rook out there, he is playing well.
I doubt Peters has any issues with playing LG.
The left side will be folding DL back when they get in tune.

Much much better than what I thought they'd be.

I kind of wish they'd just let Tyler Smith keep the LT job and let him fully acclimate himself to that position rather than move him back to LG once Tyron comes back, then have to move back to LT once Tyron gets hurt a couple weeks after that.

I think that will be a well guarded secret going into next weeks game. It may be like a Fort Knox security at practice.

I am not sure how much of a hurry they should be in to trot a 41 year old Peter's out there. At that age you can fall off a cliff over night. Tyler doing just fine and should do nothing but improve.

Farniok started out plaing really well. He did a nice job on Reader a few times. In the second half, Reader came alive and started to push Farniok a little. But overall the OL did a really nice job considering. Every guy on the OL got beat a little in the second half. Steele and Martin both missed blocks in this game. The right side struggled to contain Hubbard. The left side, struggled with Reader. But overall, they played well enough.

The OL is still struggling with DL games. They did a little better with blitzes. I would hesitate to sub anyone out next week because this line seems to have the power to push the defense back, which is a big difference from last year. They just need to work on communication.

I don’t focus on the OL but it seemed like Martin had a couple of pressures/misses. I was wondering if I was in error on that or others were seeing the same thing that I was seeing.

The teams strength isn’t the running game. Let’s stop this nonsense already. The running game has been better than the disaster it was last season. It’s not the strength of this team.

This. He's already there now and doing better than expected. Wheyn Tyron is back, put Tryon on a pitch count. But the kid should get the majority of the reps.

They definitely looked better than the Bengals line. It's a work in progress but it wasn't extremely terrible this week. Would prefer they get Peters out there at LT and move Tyler to Guard. Best 5 all year, then Tyler can kick out next year with a few games under his belt already.

If only they had played a few series in some pre season games.

It does no good to feed Zeke for 2 yard carries. We need to move the chains or the defense will be gassed. The cowboys went away from what was working yesterday in the second half and it nearly cost them. Stupid special teams penalties didnt help. Now if Zeke sprinkles in a few 5 yard burst than Im all for it. he also cant get into a ryhthm if he sits out the second series or does 2 plays and asks for a blow.

part of that is the run scheme we run, as you pass scheme can be predictable, so can run scheme. I remember last year we had this one play, where CD runs out, then turns runs back to ward the line, and then lines up on the outside 2 feet behind the line and then we ran a run play to that side. EVERY FREAKING TIME. I mean who the heck is he fooling when he is telegraphing the play. Or the WR screen plays he telegraphed. or when he had a formation and pass pattern with all the WRs (3) running hook routes at the same depth and the defense just sat on it 10 yards deep, waiting for the recievers. there is no creativity. first few games, there was novelty of our play design, now, given the game tapes the teams have they figured it out. Denver said as much. and they were right.

on the other hand, the defense is less preditable, more aggressive and they are getting better each game.

the Bucs mentioned that our game plan was predictable and they knew what's coming. that's on Moore. we are not the 90's cowboys. teams back then knew what was coming and couldn't stop it, as that team executed, executed, executed.

we have to put the players and the team in a position to succeed and Moore doesn't do a good job of it.
