I think we need to be 2-1 over the next three

The Commanders is a game you have to win. Then you have to hope for a split on the two big road games. I think the Rams might be more winnable than up in Philly. Rams have some issues now and don't look like the same team from last year. Our pass rush against their revamped OL could be the deciding factor. Philly is more tough because of a few factors: I can't see us sweeping them again, they are better, and with two blowouts on their minds, they will probably be amped.

But if you come out of the first four games considering we didn't have Dak for most of them, no Gallup for some, Tyron Smith out, Schultz banged up, Kearse out, that's huge. If one of those wins is over Philly, that would be gravy at that point.

EDIT: This is if we want to win the division. If we are 3-3 after the first six but getting healthier, we still are in decent shape for the WC.

Cowboys just need to focus on the moment, not get ahead of themselves. Only team the Cowboys need to concern themselves with is Washington.

No doubt for us fans it is easy to look ahead but Cowboys must stay in the moment

I see next week as a must win if we want to stay in the playoff hunt. I dont see us winning against the Eagles and Rams. But who knows with this defense.

Exactly. Nobody thought the Cowboys would win one game with Rush. We have a good football team. I see us being this season’s 49ers.

You also said the Commanders would expose Philly. Instead they got rolled badly.

I think Philly wins 11 or 12 games easily. Trying for a wild card may be the most prudent approach this season.

If someone offered me 2-1, with wins over Washington and Philadelphia, I'd probably take it.

Let's beat Washington and go from there.

Plus the Egirls’ OL is pretty good. Tough matchup as of now.

It's the hardest of the three games. The Rams have some issues and that's not exactly a daunting place to play.

Rams blocking / running scheme has always been an issue for our defense, though.

I see Philly offence similar to NY. Spy Hurts like we did in the second half and we can contain him. Defense has always done well to limit the big play which is what they're making their living off of. Obviously that defense is something to contend with, but I like our chances.

Philly has an infinitely better OL and more weapons in the passing game than the Giants. And Hurts, for all his flaws, is better than Jones at this point. I suspect we'll be a 5-7 point dog in that game, especially if it's still Rush.

Plus, honestly, I don't like that game at all as Dak's first game back. Not exactly the best spot to be breaking yourself back in.
