best run blocking game as a pro today and Gurode was impressive as well....
Maybe - just maybe we may have something in these two.....

So do you think it is more of Johnson having a better game or Gurode making that big of a difference?

They played together last year so they have history, I saw Gurode peel off double teams with Johnson and get to the second level several times

Maybe Gurode has turned the corner a little. I don't know, but I do know that those are the largest holes I have seen all season.

I think chemistry is a huge thing for an offensive line. I don't know if there is a lack of familiarity with Rivera, Rivera's injury hurting more than we think, or pure coincidence, but I thought the interior of the line was much better today.

Having played QB 4 years in HS...and being immobile.....as I was cursed....the center and left tackle are THE most important players on the field ....
Al Johnson without a doubt has hurt this team...badly. Now, today he got push, he played like a Vet today....he played with some pride.

We really need them to pan out. We can't afford for all of them to be busts.
We already need two tackles, plus Allen can't go on forever.

It would help tremendously for Johnson and Gurode to turn the corner and become solid players.

Al Johnson needs to do some heavy squats with L. Allen this offseason.

I hate to say this.......but on any given Sunday. It certainly appeared that today was that day. Maybe another offseason for both will make them more consistent.
