I tried to tell you zoners to wait and give romo a shot to get some experience, etc till his 50th game. Now you are seeing some results.

the story isn't written on him yet.........let's just enjoy the ride :D

I think he has only played 47 games because of the three he missed last season, but I get your point, joe.

So now you're saying that he should be playing golf on his free time?

I am confused.

Which is it?

:laugh2:

well he's 7th in passer rating. The last few years he's been top 5 or better most of the season so this isnt really knew. He has cut down on his picks and fumbles and that is VERY important. I hate the mediots who are being dismissive of him and the boys until they win in december and the post season but there is something to it. i wouldnt gloat yet.

didnt mean to sound like im gloating, i just think romo is now turning the corner so to speak

and stepping up as the qb leader he can be;

Been with you all along, Joe.

Like all QBs, he'll have some down days...we just want the overall, big-picture trend to show improvement of an already very good player.

Personally, I don't think it had anything to do with "experience".

I think it had more to do with the arrival of Miles Austin.

Tony Romo finally had a playmaker in the passing game that was hungry, humble and most importantly, won't wine when he doesn't have a lot of balls thrown to him in a game. Every Quarterback in the NFL would love to have someone at receiver with those intangibles.

The Kansas City games is one of the most important games in recent memories and I will even say it was more important then the Eagles game last night.

Besides, Tony Romo was never the main problem with this team anyway. Anyone who thought he was the main problem probably had an agenda or wasn't watching the games.

At some point, you will have to start putting Tony Romo in the MVP discussion.
