Lost in the Nnamdi nonsense which likely isn't going to happen. It's been reported he wants to go to New York for like 2 days now, he's just waiting on the money to get right.

But lost in this mess is the fact that Dallas needs safeties. Two, gotta have two safeties from somewhere.

I think it's weird that safeties aren't really coming off the market all that fast.

Didn't you hear? A Cowboys coach said they like Nnamdi at safety. :laugh2:

No one seems to want any part of Huff

Manning has gone to Houston
Landry looks like going to Jacksonville
Weddle re-signed with the Chargers

Not that much left out there, Elam would be a lateral move the only reason it would make me exited is that we actually did something in FA besides re-sign our own I don't think he makes us any better then Sensy would

It its pretty funny that we need two safeties and they apparently dont like one of the last ones left.

you really wanna sign Elam ... a non drafted free agent from Kent State who you cut 3 - 4 years ago? No thanks ill take my chances with the kid from TCU.

I don't think he was cut, I think he signed with the Jets as a FA.

Yeah, I honestly can't understand why Elam wasn't one of the first signings of FA. Either his price is too high or we just don't like him.

Maybe they're waiting on Sensy to get his head out of the sky and come to terms

I just hope it doesn't end up being just Elam who we sign. That pretty much puts us in the same boat as last year, average SS with no FS at all.

We took our chances with Tony Dixon, Lynn Scott, Keith Davis, Pat Watkins and Alan Ball, Taking chances at that position has not worked out to well for us. Elam is better then any name on that list but that says more about the crap that we've been trotting out there then Elam who i don't consider all that good either :bang2:

I think it is going to be Abram Elam at one spot. I think the team is just waiting to see what happens with Nnamdi to see what they can give him.

What about Huff? Does he suck now or something? No one seems to be too excited about the guy.

Listen, when put something in cap it signifies that I MEAN IT, ******!

How are people supposed to know that I am dead serious without the CAPS?

He was pretty good last season but it was a contract year, i think Ryan has seen more then enough of him to know if he's worth it or not. If we're not interested even when looking at the huge hole we have at safety there's got to be something with the guy.
No one else seems to be tripping over their own feet trying to sign the guy either

I'd rather have Deon Grant than sign Michael Huff to a big contract, honestly. Grant is a solid starter, 9-years, he can bring a veteran presence to that secondary. Dave Campo coached him for a few years in Jacksonville though so I dunno what he thinks of him.

He's 32 but still has some left in the tank and he's never missed a game in his career. A lot of Giants fans want them to re-sign him so take that for what it's worth.
