I want to think he knows best, his conservative running game plan, clock control, I've trusted in Bill.

.... but when you move the ball at the end of the game thru the air because you need to catch-up so you finnaly start throwing the ball down field..that is play calling...bad play calling far too conservative and I never thought I would say that but the Jags have one of the best Defensive lines in the entire NFL. Bill knew that going in, knowing this fact, how do you not game plan our WRs vs their CBs?

Truthfully, like before, nothing has been right about the play calling Offensivly or Defensivly since Bill arrived and I hate to say that, there is no consistancy except failure, I am starting to lose the In Bill We Trust attitude.

SilverStar, at least you had it to lose. I've been saying for 3 years now, in this NFL you can't sit on a 3 pt lead. Doesn't BP know they have changed the rules to favor the Offense? And in the PC today, he's 2nd guessing if he should have just run the clock out before the half instead of trying to score! When is he going to realize the answer is to play better. We'll know we are a SB contender when, like the '80s 49ers and '90s Cowboys, we drive down and score before the half to show the opposition we are in charge...

I have to agree with everything here...
our roster is loaded. I really think Jimmy Johnson would have had this team well into the playoffs last year and 1-0 to start this season.

So, when the game was 10-0, i didn't recall him being conversative. He let Bledsoe air it out. The play calling yesterday was fine. They didn't execute.

FWIW, according to Cowlishaw's stats (posted on the DMN blog yesterday), 60% of the plays in the first half were passes; 60% in the second half were passes.

Don't know if that classifies as conservative or not.
