Or maybe I just like taking players from the division. Anyone remember the game where he was a bully out there to our guys, I know he's been a disappointment, but maybe a change of scenery can help. I think he's a Texas kid too, we had interest in him during the draft. Give me your thoughts!!

I don't remember a game where he was a bully to our guys at all.

Hernandez might not even be a lat move from Williams

Just gonna mention that...in general, Giant fans think of Hernandez the way we think of Connor Williams.

The move from LG to RG probably played a role there, but he ended up there via losing the LG job.

If we do sign a FA LG, it can't really be a question mark IMO.

Besides, the chances of our top pick being OL is probably around 70%

I like his nasty streak and it wouldn't surprise me if he becomes a solid OG in the right situation. I'm just not sure thats us at this time.

Good rookie year of potential flashes. No progression thereafter. Stagnation or regression at best even imo.

Has the look more of a tries hard but just not good enough to be a starter toolbox at this stage as his rookie year bad technique and habits have not improved.

I would not view as an upgrade.

Are you kidding me the guy got a flag on the drive for his after the play antics, doesn't make him a bully, but I saw some toughness
You talking about the 1st Giants game. That doesnt make him a bully, that makes him stupid. You really want that?

Still remember people telling me that he was as good an OG prospect as Quenton Nelson. LOL.

For cheap, I'd take a flier.

That’s what I’ve been pushing.

Has he been bad the past two years? Yes. No denying it.

But was he good the two years before? Yes. No denying that either (try as some might).

Add it all up, and you have a highly-regarded draft prospect (maybe too high by some) who has had four different offensive line coaches in his ear. Constant changes of guys playing next to him doesn’t help either. And asking him to reverse his entire technique to move to right guard screwed him up too.

I think a change of scenery would do him a world of good. And I also know that he trains in Dallas and is friends with some of our linemen already.

Unless another team pays him big money, I think he’d make an excellent reclamation project.

he couldn't be worse than Williams and I agree a change of scenary may do him good.

UFC might be the better sport for you to watch.

“He’s been a disappointment but did you see that personal foul penalty. We need this guy.”

can’t make this stuff up.

Hernandez was born and raised in Las Vegas. Played his college ball in Texas (UTEP).

This. He is mean! Which is good. But the penalties after the play would be drive killers!

He’s a bust
Fans like his scrappy attitude
They have no clue how he actually grades out as a blocker
He’s not that good
Just to compare CW had 13 pressures
Hernandez 39
