in there,a lot of speed, and was in on mannings a lot.i think he will prove his first round status.

I think he will be an above average player when its all said and done.. the pick I believe was on need and potential , not an immediate impact..

He'll be on the Bradie James 4 year plan though....

Kid will be just fine...........instincts are there, will add some beef even by next year......will compete for position up and down the LB line ---which helps improve everyone.

He is a rookie. Meaning he will make good and bad plays All do even first rounders. Give him another off season and you will see improvements next year.

He did fine, which isn't bad at all for the first meaningful play of his career.

At least you can see some athletic ability now, which wasn't there at all in preseason. The little burst he showed on the play where Addai got by him but then Carp caught him from behind was a good example of how he can move at 255 lbs.

I saw him while coming out of stadium, I guess we took wrong route, and saw players coming out their locker rooms. He doesn't look as big as I thought he would be, width wise I guess, but he is of pretty good height though.

Actually he was supposed to be a guy who could come in and help right away. He didn't have as much upside, but was viewed as immediate help.

That being said, I think he can still be a solid starter in this league in time.

I know the play you're talking about......Carpenter got pushed around to let Addai get the corner. He looks a little weak on the edge right now but will probably be better next year with another year in the weight program.

He still has lots of problems disengaging from blockers in run defense, which is what badly stood out in preseason.

Yeah I noticed he gave up the edge on a couple plays but he does excel in the nickle. I forgot how good Al Singleton is on the run.

The pick was sold as an immediate contributor.

He hasn't been.

But I'm hardly down on the player. I think he's going to be a fine starter.
