I wish the Cowboys would limit their spending on their own guys, the way they do for Free Agents!

Re-signing and investing in our homegrown talent seems to not be paying off well for us. Why can't we limit the way we spend on our own guys, the way we limit ourselves when the free agency starts? We're adamant that we're not going to make any moves in FA, let's do it when it's time to sign another big contract for a player on this team. Let's stop, wait, and tell the world we DON'T have the money to sign any of our homegrown talent. Please give your thoughts

"We" It is mind-boggling how many Dallas Cowboy employees are on this board. And even more fascinating how many are involved in payroll operations and personnel decisions.

But why stop there. Why not also also refer to ourselves as imaginary employees of our local grocery stores, meat processing plants, farms and others.

Yell out "we did it" next time you see a eighteen wheeler unloading fuel at your local gas station. Don't let your imagination be limited to sports only!

or even yell out that we spend our hard earned money to go support this gutless team, maybe if everyone were as rich as you are and didn't care, then we'd be fine. Tell your boy Jerry to put you back in the HR department, which stands for the Head Robot!!!! (Dak knows about this, see him at interviews "we will get better, I must be better, i'll do better!") Diamond, I heard you're in charge of getting the correct ink pen that Dak wants to write his speeches!!

Most of us have invested 40,50 or more years of our lives rooting, puking and suffering with this team. We fan say we any time we like.

You're not wrong. At least revisit the strategy that hasn't worked for 30 years.

The problem with Cowboys is ownership. You could have any player or coach here but this egomaniac and his son would undermine the operation. On one hand I hate the Eagles/Commanders/Giants with a passion but beating those teams three more times would do nothing for our franchise. On the other hand we lose out and get a top 3 pick this owner would own the draft season. I hate football right now.

If anything, Washington gives us hope at a new future when/ if the jones sell.

I’m probably wrong but it seems fans are finally hitting a breaking point with the jones family. Maybe fans will make a stance and stop lining the jones pockets.

Yup, let's just shut the whole board down. No place for opinions, a fan zone.

Dak once was that rookie qb. Regardless your thoughts on Dak they better draft his replacement. I get the sense they won’t in Jerry’s “all in” pitch.

I think most can agree it’s not going to matter who is qb with Jerry running the show.

you're right, feels like they're scared to do that, they might have to realize that all these years of just getting a 3rd string QB in here isn't going to work. Time to get someone in here to groom
