As many of you know, Jimi Hendrix turned a right-handed Fender Stratocaster upside down and strung it left handed to accommodate his left handedness. Once he made it big, I'm sure he could have afforded a left-handed Stratocaster. A lefty Strat would have had the advantage of the guitar's contours fitting his body ergonomically and of the high notes being easier to reach. But Hendrix never did that. He stuck with his righty upside-down Strat. Maybe he just stuck with what he was used to.
