I first want to say that the Cowboys have been WONDERFUL this season so far. I have very few critiques about this team so far. When you start a season with a 70-10 aggregate score for the first two games in the NFL, that's INCREDIBLE! Also, it's delightful being 2-0. I love the fact that we look as dominant as we have been. Our coaches and players are doing very well so far.

That being said, there is one thing that I would like to see. I would like to see Luepke get more involved. I think getting Luepke involved in the short yardage game can help us turn some of those field goals into touchdowns. We have a FB for a reason. Don't just use him for blocking. Use him for the FB dive at the one or two yard line. I would like to see how he can handle this in the NFL.

That said, absolutely brilliant performance by the Cowboys these first two games. We don't really have any glaring weaknesses, as far as I can tell. We just have a few areas that could use a bit of tightening up. It's early in the season, and I trust our coaches. I just thought I'd share my thought on using Vaughn.

They are much better off having him lead block for Pollard than just giving it to Luepke. Short yardage is 80% the blocking. Pollard has the quickness and strength to hit the hole or make a guy miss or bounce it outside if there is nothing.

Giving him the ball in short yardage is not going to help. They are much better off having him lead block for Pollard than just giving it to Luepke. Short yardage is 80% the blocking. Pollard has the quickness and strength to hit the hole or make a guy miss or bounce it outside if there is nothing.

It might as it'd give him an extra half second before the defence can react.

He was I drafted for a reason, but sure. Give him some time if we’re up. Don’t want to see him in goal line in a tight game though until I’ve seen more

Yes, the Eagles have the QB sneak, we can bring back the classic FB dive.
I think we will probably see it. Would definitely work if used here and there.

I want to see him fake a block and go right out into a pass pattern. Thats what he did so well in college for big plays.

I get that, it's just something I felt was worth saying. We need a short yard back, and I think Luepke can do it if given the ball.

I'd honestly like to see him on other downs inside the tackles as well.

They will start sprinkling him in and his opportunities will be earned from there. I think its just a matter of time. I'm with you though

First, a small correction: he wasn't drafted. But I agree with you on your main points.
