Hoping to see some of a connection with Rush and Mingo this game, not sure how much Lamb will play this upcoming game. Hoping to see some kind of something with this passing game better than what we obviously saw in last game. Having 40 yards passing in a game should NEVER happen again for a qb that's playing the entire game. Please give your thoughts

I wouldn’t expect much from Mingo because our current quarterbacks can pass the football. Plus Rush has no connection with the kid. Of course Cowboys zone will be all over Mingo when he has 6 snaps and no targets.

They have to establish the run if they want to have any success passing. The need to get play action going, and throw the ball downfield some. I don't mean they have to throw bombs every series, but some 20 yard passes here and there would help. The dinking and dunking is pointless and ineffective regardless of who is catching the ball and who is throwing it.

Coogs, this is how desperate we have become as a franchise….we are looking at a guy who did very little in the two years he was in Carolina (a bad team) to be something for us. The fact we are expecting this backup WR who has been here two weeks to show something at all says everything about how hungry Cowboys fans are for any good news. My expectations are lowwwwwwwwwwww.

What I expect:
  • He will be playing a lot of punt coverage on STs.
  • He will play about 10 snaps on offense. (Guess we will see how good he is running curl routes, lol)
  • He will make one reception.

Dinking and dunking only works if the person catching the ball can get a good chunk of YAC. Unfortunately, our guys catch a 2 yard pass, and get immediately tackled. It's especially annoying, when it's 3rd and 6, and the QB passes the ball for 2 yards, and boom, receiver gets tackled 4 yards behind the sticks!! So sick of seeing that!!

You actuallly think he's going to have 1 reception? That's bold!! I'm hoping he's good at scooping up a ball that's thrown at your feet!! :muttley:

Creep, I was ready to break my TV, we played like we were scared to make passes past 4 yards, like seriously? I saw a play action play it was a good fake too, they threw it short to one of the RB's or something, it was horrible!! If we're not going to do anything to scare the D just throw it out of bounds. The safe passes to the flats where the defender is RIGHT THERE and ready to kill your teammate has to stop also!!!!

Haze, POST OF THE MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol, like damn that's all we could do?? Yes we're so vulnerable as Cowboys fans it's sickening, we'd take anything right now. Yes we're desperate as hell, I think we may be happier with the trade if it were for a 5--7th round pick, not a 4th!

Actually he will be targeted a lot, 3 yards and a pile of dust, HC Jerry has mandated he needs 12 targets minimum to show how brilliant the trade was. He really liked him in the draft
