Just don't get a portrait of Tom Landry because I am getting that tattoo on August 14th. :)

All jokes aside, I've always thought the OLD logo of the goofy guy riding the horse is really cool. I might even get that myself down the road. Just make sure the artist is good. Google Dallas Cowboys tattoos...there are some really BAD ones.

Phrase: "How 'bout them Cowboys" i think would be relevant (hey WVCowboy) to your age.

Risen Star's had some gems lately. His Danny Coale commentary is awesome.

Sports tattoos have never really been something I have liked.

I've yet to see one that looks all that good.

I would stay away from portraits for sure.

FYI, the goofy guy is called Cowboy Joe and I wish Jerry would bring him back instead of using Rowdy.

You could always get a Navy star with a #88 in the middle of it, and the 5 SB years on each point of the star.

;)

I highly recommend a portrait of a smiling Michael Irvin in the middle of your lower back. Then immediately purchase several pairs of ultra low rise jeans and start wearing them everywhere.

I have a fraternity tattoo. Do not regret it but make sure it is something you can live with forever. If I had to get another, it would be a simple blue star on the ankle.

Didn't Landry say something to the affect of "No one is useless. Sometimes you can use someone as an example of what not to do."?

Portrait tattoos are my favorite, when done right. My guy, Rember Orellana, is amazing. Here are two examples of his work.

While those portraits are very good, the odds of getting a guy that good is slim.

Very few people can actually do what he can do. You are lucky if you have a guy that talented lined up.

And even if the guy is that good I think portraits are more fitting for family and loved ones.

Getting a portrait of something you are a "fan" of is kinda creepy. Creepy no matter how good it is.
