Personally, I don't think Bledsoe is a HOF QB, but I guess some do. If Bledsoe quits on this team because he is not the starter, do you think that would sqush any talk of him being a HOF QB ?

A good few last years here were needed to push him into the HOF, IMHO. A ring would have made him a lock.

But if Jim Kelly gets in on a 1st ballot, who knows....

I like Bledsoe but honestly I'm not sure if he would ever make the HOF regardless if he stays in Dallas or not.

Bledsoe will not walk away from the team.

All of this talk is idle speculation on the part of the Ed Werder's of the world.

When he said he had no interest in being a backup, it was during an off-season, not in a mid-season... totally different circumstances.

It's not in his character to abandon his responsibility, and he won't do it here. If he does, I'll be shocked and it will totally change my opinion of the guy.

He'll certainly walk after the year is over, but he won't leave now.

I think he's a long-shot now to make the HOF, but you never know. There's also still a possibility of him seeing the field again this year due to injury or poor performance, so the final chapter of his story may not yet be written.

I dont know he did state he wouldnt go through what happened in NE again, funny how history has a way of repeating itself. It wouldnt shock me if he did retire.

That's my thinking as well. If Kelly can get in so can Bledsoe but I doubt he does.

I will eat my old beat up Cowboys hat if Bledsoe gets into the Hall of Fame. I'm no Bledsoe hater. I just don't believe there's any reason whatsoever to put him into the HoF. It's not the "Hall of Pretty Good Players." It's the Hall of Fame. It's reserved for the best players of their generation. He's not even close. Even if he had a slight chance, I think the humiliating benching the other day might have made those voters think twice.

Jim Kelly led his team to four straight Super Bowls. That's why he's in the hall. Thermal Thomas will probably get in too, for similar reasons.
