By some remote chance, should Dallas win in Tampa, are all of you who are loudly proclaiming a “No Contest”, going to come back here and say you were wrong?

I don’t know what will happen with a fraction of the certainty that you game-masters do .. so, I don’t say.

But, I don’t look as much like an idiot as many either ..

I will absolutely admit I was very wrong. But I am not worried. We aren’t breaking a 8 game road playoff losing streak against the goat with this squad. Too many injuries, too many stupid play calls, too many bad throws, too many missed tackles, too many special teams mistakes. And not just today.

If the Cowboys win in Tampa next week, I’ll be very surprised if not shocked. They haven’t looked good the past month and today was the worst game I can remember them having heading into the playoffs. Don’t know how they’re going to be able to bounce back from this dreadful performance and win a playoff game on the road against Tom Brady.

Dallas could win next week
But this performance gives me little confidence

We are fortunate to be playing Tampa in the first game, they are not neccessarily playing with a lot of confidence either, whoever wins that game gets a chance to bounce back.

Not worried about TB12 to be honest. I am aware that he will probably carve us up, but their "team". The team we're playing is in the same exact situation we're in. They can be beaten.

The larger problem I see right now, is that I don't think a solution to get to the NFCG is walking through that door in the next 48 hours. We look like a squad that's one haymaker away from another postseason disappointment. At some point Dak has to graduate to the next level of QB play, or this is as far as we're going to get. Up and down, 50/50 play and leaving the table when the contenders put their chips into the middle.

I will never say that it is no contest, If that was the case teams would just forfeit the games.
With that said if anyone thinks we win this game easily that they are delusional
You should never expect to win an NFL playoff game “easily”.

no, regardless of whether they win or not in Tampa, they should not have presented a worthless performance like they did today.

also I am not looking for just one playoff win. they need to get to championship to impress me.

What would it matter in the long run? Are you going to put it on future job applications that you were right and others wrong about a football game on the internet?

What’s funny is I see the same people who said they aren’t worried about playing Brady were the same people that weren’t afraid of facing a 3-8 GB team with Rodgers in GB, how’d that work? Sometimes in sports a player just has your number and it never changes and i certainly don’t think that’s going to change after how terrible this team has been playing for weeks

I will say dallas can not beat anyone playing like they did today. They are capable of playing much better. Will they is the question. Recent history says no but its not absolute. This team lacks that dog mentality that winning teams typically have.

Well, they say you want to hit the post season on a hot streak. We are just about the opposite frankly. We play down to the level of bad teams just about every time. For some reason Dak suddenly has the Yips. Yips are bad. It's why kickers hit 20 straight at 40 to 50 yards and then start missing them for no apparent reason. Dak got the Yips at the worst time possible. Hot we are not. Hopefully the defense can turn it on, but I expect the GOAT to play well in the bright lights. Gonna be tough.
