I like Glenn and what he can do on the field and I HOPE he can play Sunday,, but.. if that does not happen.. it will not hurt as bad as most teams. Most teams dread back ups coming up especially in the WR spot, because the Starting QB has not worked with them, there is no timing, etc.. that is not the case for us. Tony Romo has worked a lot with Hurd and Miles.. running the Scout team in practice. Although Glenn will be missed if he doesn't play, at least our Starting QB, knows the back ups just as well if not better than the starters.

This is so true, 4ever. Hurd is mature for a rookie and it would be nice to see Austin in real game action. But something that bothers me is how other team's second and third string receivers do so well against our seconday. Hopefully, Hurd and Austin will return the favor if Glenn can't go.

He did that last year a couple of times but was a decoy.

I remember, but then I didn't think it was so great, Yeager....Bill's voodoo anatomy and physiology lectures had convinced me Tnew would queer an MCL if he tried anything on the field other than running backward.

Now that my four year Tuna-afflicted fear of seeing Newman return punts has been cured, I could actually enjoy watching him go out for a few from Tony R.

Not too many, of course.

We wouldn't want to upset anyone.

I had not really considered that aspect, but you are correct on your point.

And I really do hope TG gets well, FAST. But for some reason the idea of Hurd or Miles playing doesn't scare me. hmmmm

Maybe, how many passes have been thrown to him on offense ?

Sorry I cant find a bright spot in this situation.

I'm in agreement. Frankly, this problem sounds career ending. You can't numb this thing up every day to practice. Our young receivers will not draw the attention that Glenn does.

Why are you asking?
