If I had told you we’d give up a total of 36 points against these two offenses

Who would have believed me?

Now what if I told you the offense simultaneously scored a total of 20 points and lost TOP and total plays in both games?

The defensive performance so far is impressive in its own right given the competition. It’s remarkable when you consider they’ve been hung out to dry by the offense.

Yes but you should have seen this coming. Anybody who expected going into the season that Dak Prescott was going to lead an effective offense with Noah Brown and Semi Fehoko in your top 3 WRs was kidding themselves. It just wasn't going to happen. The injury spared him.

When he returns he should have Gallup and Washington back which should improve things but not enough.

We are now a defensive team.

Giving up an average of 18 pts a game so far is not bad at all considering it was the Bucs and Bengals. I think most knew the defense was gonna have to carry this team this year, and it looks like that is still true. My only concern is the defense staying too long on the field, but so far so good.
