Would this rank among his biggest mistakes?

Letting Jimma go ranks as the biggest IMHO.
Also, hiring Campo/Gailey have to rank high.
LeFleur comes to mind.
Any of you cynics have favorites?

this site is becoming unreadable. how can it be known how Turner will do before he even steps onto the saddle? no one here knows

how was LaFleur a mistake? the guy was a good TE and was done in by a back problem

Campo and Gailey were mistakes...not being able to work something out to keep Jimmy was a mistake...Switzer was a mistake...Marco Rivera and Vanderjact were mistakes

whomever we hire now, we wont know if its a mistake until somewhere down the road...if this was a lousy football team with little or no talent, Norv would not be a good hire...but we have talent

No one knows for sure, but we all have seen him fall off the saddle a few times. A bit of wisdom: You may forget your past, but you past will not forget you.

It's almost like a few months back when we got nonstop posts about how Zimmer caused all evil, Parcells can't coach and has man-boobs, etc. You know the type. ;)

It is getting kind of crazy, but Norv is the prominent rumor, and many think that's a terrible idea. I'm tired of talking about it (finally) but I understand why some aren't. If it happens, it happens. It'll probably be Zimmer's fault anyway.

dbair is sitting there, twiddling with his hair or makeup.
he sees a lousy post.
"Duh! maybe I should respond to a lousy post and take up space in the thread."
He responds.
Now he is back to twiddling with his hair combover and makeup.
"Duh, maybe I should respond a second time . . . "

GENIUS, DBAIR. GENIUS!!!

No one wants to find out is the thing. Based on what he has previously done, why would anyone want to take the chance.

QC has to be one of the biggest mistakes.

Was QC a bigger mistake than Jacob Rogers, or the many other 2nd round picks who busted in Dallas? No.

But he is a very popular punching bag in these parts. Its always 10 times worse because it was QC.

I dont know why dont we let the guy write his story here instead of us writing it for him.

Ill judge Norv Turner on what he does in Dallas.

On the contrary...we happen to have people here that can clearly see the future before it happens. It spoils us sometimes and we even do get a little greedy and ask if Howie will actually high-five someone in the near future instead of the traditional fist-bump.

I can't really see how Norv can do any worse than the last two defensive HC who combined to go 7 years without a single playoff victory. I support a new approach.
